The main component of P507 metal extractant is 2-Ethylhexyl Phosphoric Acid Mono-2-Ethylhexyl Ester, which belongs to the acidic phosphonic acid extractants. It is soluble in alcohols, benzene, ketones, sulfonated kerosene, and other organic solvents, but insoluble in water. It has excellent extraction performance, maintains stability during use, and is currently a primary extractant in the rare earth and nickel-cobalt industries.
